Donors need to know that proposals are rooted in the identified needs of the target community. To meet this objective, this course covers how to define, plan, and appraise a project and how to develop a proposal with a strong budget that encourages ownership by the project’s key stakeholders. It will equip project staff with the necessary understanding and skills to use the components of the project cycle to develop a project proposal in a participatory way. The trainer uses a learning-by-doing methodology that is active and inclusive. By working together and learning from the experience of others, the participants will take away tools that they can share with others and use again and again. As part of this course, Mango will deliver specific sessions on how to develop a budget in line with project objectives and activities.
What previous participants have said about the course: 'The training has helped us to always get the stakeholders involved in developing our proposals with the inclusion of the financial team.’
